Electives

Even the best chefs need a break from the kitchen. Berkshire Hills has four core areas for your child to choose from during their daily elective.

Waterfront

Stand up paddles boards, canoes, kayaks, rowboats, fishing, recreational swim and an inflatable course on our sixty acre private lake are great ways to enjoy the water. Two heated pools offer a different kind of aquatic fun.

Sports

Favorite camp sports include floor hockey, basketball, soccer, softball, volleyball, tennis and fitness. At Berkshire Hills, our goal is to help every camper improve in athletic activities regardless of their skill level.

Arts

Music, drama, ceramics, crafts, movie making, dance, painting and drawing are among the many artistic activities at camp. Guitar and Ukulele lessons are offered as part of our music program.

Adventure/Nature Activities

You will be hard pressed to find a longer camp zipline than Berkshire Hill’s quarter mile zipline across Miller Pond. An eleven element ropes course, camp outs in our treehouse, biking, a garden and an archery range give campers other opportunities for outdoor adventure. Chickens, goats and other animals, a vegetable garden and nature hikes on the property all connect children to the environment.
